This morning the awards ceremony of the drawing contest "La mar es vida" was held;
an integrated action in the Extra-School Activities Campaign "Eco-Schools Coastal" that develops during the School Course 2017/18 with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, the Nautical Club of Eagles and the Fishermen's Association of the town.
The theme of this second children's drawing contest is entitled 'The sea and the plastics', within the Campaign Caring for the Sea of ​​the Nautical Club of Águilas, and aims that children reflect on the attitude of citizens by throwing plastic waste into the sea ​​and its consequences with the fauna and loose.
The contest has counted with a participation superior to the hundred of students of all the schools of Águilas whose works have been exhibited in the fish market of the fishing port.
The jury, made up of the teachers of Eco-Schools Coastal, the mayor of Education, the senior employer, and the manager of the Club Náutico de Águilas, has been commissioned to award the following prizes:
