One more year the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of St. John the Evangelist, St. Veronica Woman and Christ of Consuelo, popularly known as Paso Blanco, carried out, coinciding with the feast of St. John the Evangelist, the proclamation to the patron who on this occasion ran to charge of Antonio José Palazón, parish priest who was for several years at the head of the aquiline parish of El Carmen.

The event was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno;

the mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández;

the president of Paso, José Rabal;

as well as representatives of different brotherhoods of the locality and members of the municipal corporation.
