The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, along with several councilors of the Government Team, yesterday held a meeting with the Municipal Board of Huerto de la Roja in which were present a large number of residents of the area among which was the President of the aforementioned Board, Pedro López.
During the meeting, the mayor informed the neighbors about the start of the work of clearing and cleaning, by Adif, the margins of the railway that are already being carried out and that will be followed by the closure of the same with a fence;
something that - said Moreno - "will increase the security of the area remarkably".
The meeting also served, within the framework of participatory budgets, to specify some of the proposals of a generic nature that were provided by the Municipal Board.
Thus, among the measures announced by the mayor, will be carried out this year are actions such as the fence of the Murcia region, actions of public works related to rainwater, and safety improvements related to traffic in the area .
