The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, received this morning at the City Hall of Águilas the teachers who are participating in the strategic collaboration project "Active minds, moving hands", included within the European Erasmus + program of which the El Rubial aquiline school is a member.
During the visit, the director of the aquiline center, Inmaculada Hernández, stressed that during the project is working with colleagues from other countries with the aim of sharing experiences and knowledge.
The common thread is the use of active methodologies in the improvement of scientific and mathematical competences, from the approach known by the acronym STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Maths) and applying strategies related to the PBL (Problem-based learning ).
After this meeting in Águilas, the next training sessions will take place in the Czech Republic, Caracal (Romania) and Iraklion (Crete).
As a symposium, the last meeting will take place in the city where the idea was born and from where the project is coordinated, Izmir (Turkey).
