The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Town Planning, Tomás Consentino, visited Echegaray Street this morning where the works have already been completed to improve the accessibility of the area, thus responding to the commitment made by the first mayor of Aguileña with the neighbors of the cited street.
During the visit Moreno has reiterated "the importance for this Government Team has the removal of architectural barriers as a way of betting on the real integration of disabled people as well as older people with mobility problems".
It should be noted that the action has been carried out by the participants in the program "Improvement of accessibility, trafficability and repairs in the urban area of ​​Águilas";
a Program of Local Public Employment co-financed by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the European Social Fund and by the City Council of Águilas.
