The comedian, actress and presenter Ana Morgade will be the proclaimer of the Carnival of Eagles 2018;
a news item made public a few minutes ago by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, during a press conference in which the first mayor of Aquiline was accompanied by the councilman of Carnival, Cristóbal Casado, and the president of the Federation of Peñas, José Alonso.
Along with the town crier, the rest of the people and institutions that will be honored during the most important party in Águilas have been announced.
Thus, the president of the Peñas Federation was in charge of announcing the Gold Masks that this year have fallen on: Sebastián Pelegrín (founder Magenta) and la Murga Los ciegos, ciegos perdíos;
the Golden Conch, an acknowledgment to the media, this year has been awarded to Canal Sur.
With regard to the Cuerva National Contest, the recognition of Grand Master will be in this 2018 for José Emilio Martínez, general secretary of the Commission of Celebrations of Caravaca;
while the Carnival of the Night will receive the Golden Shell.
