The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, accompanied by the mayor of Commerce, Encarna Navarro, and the president of the Association of Merchants and Industrialists, Dariem Caparrós, presented this morning the project Interconnection of the economic sector services in Águilas that aims principal to give visibility in the network to the companies of the sector services of the locality.

"From the City Council has detected the need to position in Google the establishments that want it and thus allow, for example, that with a couple of clips any citizen can know opening and closing times, precise location on the map, facilitate the identification of the main activity ... in short, it is about positioning the sector within the network thus increasing your business opportunities, "said the first mayor.

In the same way, and also within this project, a database of the services sector will be created so that the City Council can report directly on training actions, advisory programs, possible calls for subsidies and grants, agreements taken by the Board of the Local Commerce and any information that may be of interest and that sometimes goes unnoticed.

During the press conference Moreno stressed that this project is being carried out through the Local Public Employment Program "Strengthening the Economic Development Service of the City of Águilas".

About this program, co-financed by the Autonomous Community, the European Social Fund and the City of Águilas, the mayor has highlighted that has allowed the temporary hiring, for six months to 50% of the working day, of a total of fifteen juvenile aquilines of 30 years beneficiaries of the Youth Guarantee Programs that until now were unemployed.

"This new program," the mayor continued, "aims to carry out different actions of public and general interest, including the interconnections of the services sector that we present today."

The profile of the people hired is that of an economist, an ADE, a Law graduate, two graduates in Sports Sciences, a Bachelor of Arts in Pedagogy, a Bachelor of Science in Nature, two computer scientists, three administrative and three support for;

All of them were commissioned during this period to conduct studies and analyzes for the implementation of municipal actions to promote economic, rural, fishing, sports, educational, tourism, cultural and social activities.
