Asteamur, the Association for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder of Murcia, held on Saturday a Day of Family Living in Eagles attended by the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Social Services, Rosalía Casado.
Along with the activities of a playful nature, aimed at the little ones, interesting presentations were developed, such as the one given by the therapist and director of Asteamur, Noelia Férez, under the title "The TEA, right to leisure and free time".
It is worth remembering that the Asteamur association has had its own headquarters for a few months, assigned by the City Council, in the town.
A fact that has allowed local families with a member with this Autism Spectrum Disorder, do not have to move to Murcia, Cartagena or Lorca, where are the main venues and, in this way, can continue a therapy and daily in the town.
"The TEA is a reality that affects many families, for that reason from the Government Team do not hesitate to provide all our support and collaboration so that Águilas had its own headquarters," said the first mayor.
