The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Town Planning mayor, Tomás Consentino, visited the works that are being carried out to improve the accessibility of the Francisco Diaz Romero Aguileño Musical Board;
a building to which a large number of children and adults go daily and which presented important architectural barriers.
During the visit Moreno reiterated "the importance for this Government Team to improve accessibility as a way of betting on the real integration of disabled people".
It should be noted that the action is being carried out by the participants in the program "Improvement of accessibility, trafficability and repairs in the urban area of ​​Águilas";
a Local Public Employment Program co-financed by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the European Social Fund and by the Águilas City Council that has allowed temporary hiring, for six months to 75% of the working day, of a total of nine aquilines that until now were unemployed.
