The City Council of guilas and Ecovidrio, the non-profit entity in charge of managing the recycling of glass packaging waste in Spain, will launch during the Carnival of guilas the awareness campaign "Don Carnal says, Recycle glass in Carnival "to promote the recycling of glass in guilas.
The campaign, which will run from 9 to 12 February, will have several educators who will inform on the importance of correctly separating glass packaging waste.
They will also distribute whistles and invite them to take a photo with the photocoll or the campaign sandwich to upload it to RRSS with the #RECICLAVIDRIOENCARNAVAL hahstag.
In addition, the hoteliers are challenged to recycle the greatest number of kilos of glass during these days.
To motivate them, for each bucket of recycled glass, the Ecopatrulla will give a participation to the innkeepers for a raffle of 3 baskets of products from the land.
To give greater visibility to the campaign, Ecovidrio will place in the Plaza de Espaa and Paseo Isaac Peral several containers decorated with Mr. Igl Don Carnal and Mr. Igloo Doa Cuaresma.
