Last Friday guilas Plaza Shopping Center held its traditional Carnival Festival for the Elderly, which has had another year with the presence of the mayor of guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno and the mayor of Elderly, Encarna Navarro, along with other members of the municipal corporation.
On this occasion, the AFEMAC Association and the Urci Occupational Center have also joined the Festival, taking care to encourage the elderly by spreading joy and a lot of progress.
Along with the representatives of the two residences for the elderly, the Alzheimer guilas Association, AFEMAC and the Urci Occupational Center, the manager of the Shopping Center, Gema Sim, and the authorities have chosen the Kings and Queens of the Carnival.
Their Carnival Majesties of the San Francisco Residence have been Paco Chapapra and Ins Villa;
of the Ferroviarios Residence have been crowned Jess Pea and Mara Isabel Amparo Lzaro;
of the Alzheimer Association guilas have been elected King and Queen of the Carnival Rufo Martnez and Isabel Martnez;
in AFEMAC the fortunate ones have been Juan Garca and Mara Carrillo;
and also they have been crowned of the Urci Occupational Center Daniel Andrs Maly Blzquez and Cristina Garca.
Between dances and carnival music they have enjoyed a rich breakfast and have fought their particular battle of shells.
