The ingenuity, creativity and spectacularity of the Eagles Carnival last night was evident in the eighteenth edition of the Paper Costumes and Body Makeup Contest;
the event started with the performance of the baton Dakokan Sambaleña, the TeyDe School and the rhythms of the Official Ballet of the Peñas Federation.
One more year, the members of the Carnival paper workshop showed their ability to make magnificent costumes using paper as their only element, from which they know how to get the most out of the games.
On this occasion there were a total of four designs that were on stage, accompanied by a staging at the height of a Carnival declared of International Tourist Interest.
After a hard deliberation of the members of the jury made up of the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the mayor of Carnival, Cristóbal Casado;
the president of the Peñas Federation, José Alonso;
and the adult and child characters of the Carnival, The Queen of the Nile won the first prize of the contest.
In the form of body makeup was the magnificent work of Cristel Van Den of Make Up Studio who won the trophy with the miracle of life.
