The Phase I of the Special Plan of Local Action 18 (PEAL) designed by the Spanish Red Cross in Águilas and integrated into the Specific Emergency Plan of the Carnival of the City Council, closed last night at 2 a.m. without registering notable incidents.
In this first phase, which began last Thursday with the Sona de la Mussona and has been developed until Tuesday, 106 attendances have been registered, a figure slightly lower than that of 2017.
Of these, the Advanced Life Support Unit has intervened on 7 occasions during the Parades held on Sunday and Tuesday, while in the Advanced Health Post installed on the Esplanade of the Commercial Port medical teams have carried out 48 assists, most of them of them evaluated, assisted and stabilized "in situ", referring only to the External Emergency Service of the Águilas Norte Health Center to 6 of the patients assisted.
On the other hand, Basic Life Support units have carried out 46 interventions on the public road and the homes of the city at the request of the Emergency Coordination Center of Murcia or the Municipal Coordination Center of the City Council.
In parallel, on Tuesday, the Musso Nar 10 Shipwreck Rescue Exercise was held in the Levante Bay with the participation of the Clara Campoamor Ship and the LS Titania vessel, both of Maritime Rescue, which was attended by the National Director of SASEMAR, Juan Luis Pedrosa and the Heads of the Center of Almería and Cartagena.
During these six days of development of the first phase about 200 Spanish Red Cross personnel among Doctors, Technical Nurses in Health Emergencies, Patterns and Aquatic Rescuers have participated in the Operative, which will resume next Friday from 22:00 hours and will end on Piñata Sunday at eight in the morning.
