As every year the Carnival arrives in our locality and AFEMAC Mental Health celebrates it with numerous activities, which began last Friday, February 2 with the assistance of the users to the traditional parties celebrated in the Shopping Center "Águilas Plaza", where They celebrated the arrival of the Carnival, accompanied by friends from the Occupational Center "Urci" and the two residences of elders of Águilas.
Days later, they visited both residences on the occasion of the carnival parties organized in their headquarters and shared with the greatest music and entertainment in equal parts, demonstrating their "body of dance", which made two choreographies to which workers and residents joined .
We highlight the visit, on Wednesday, February 7, of all the characters of the 2018 Carnival accompanied by the mayor Mª Carmen Moreno and the Councilor of Carnival Cristóbal Casado as well as a representative of the Federation of Peñas.
The visitors were presented with baskets of carnival shells made in the workshop of Creativity of AFEMAC.
The final highlight of this special week was the traditional carnival party held at the AFEMAC facilities.
This year we highlight the first "Drag Queens" contest at the center as a successful novelty, in which the participants have squandered a good dose of freshness and humor, parodying great artists from the entertainment world.
