The mayor of �guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has evaluated "very positively" the Carnival 2018;

some parties that Moreno has assured- "have gone by without noticeable incidents".

The first aquiline mayor made these statements during a press conference in which she was accompanied by the mayor of Carnival, Crist�bal Casado, and the president of the Pe�as Federation, Jos� Alonso.

More than 300,000 people, according to estimates, have passed through �guilas during the two central weeks of Carnival, an especially significant figure on Pi�ata's weekend when the cleaning services collected 7,000 kilos of waste more than last year;

In addition, the cleaning service has been restarted in the portable toilets that have had four operators dedicated exclusively to the continuous cleaning of the same.

"All this," said Casado, "with the aim of returning the municipality to normal almost immediately, something that has also contributed to the rapidity with which it has proceeded to the dismantling of the boxes."

Before concluding the meeting with the media, the mayor, the mayor of Carnival and the president of the Federation agreed on "the magnificent work done by the clubs of Carnival as well as the characters of our party who, once again, have demonstrated that they are the true architects of making our party grow year after year ".
