The Local Assembly of the Spanish Red Cross in Águilas celebrated this weekend an Open House to bring its partners, collaborators and citizens closer to its resources and the personnel that participate in the different programs that the organization has assets in the municipality.
Councilors of the Government Team, with the mayor María del Carmen Moreno, and the Municipal Groups, Popular and Águilas Can, approached the base of the organization located on Iberia Street to see first-hand the work of its professionals and volunteers .
Together with them, entrepreneurs like the manager of the Clendy Group, who collaborate on a regular basis with the Employment Plan, welcoming the students of the different training initiatives such as Professional Certificates, so that they complete their training and can access the labor market with guarantees .
An Employment Plan that has been underway at the Spanish Red Cross in Águilas since November 2016 and which, at present, advises in active search for employment and provides basic skills to about 60 people at risk or social exclusion, although It serves about one hundred users advising them about job opportunities or how to prepare a resume.
Numerous aquiline families, accompanied by the most "small" of the house, got on the boats, put the lights of the ambulances and for a few moments they became rescuers and toilets equipped with rescue cans and helmets of self-protection.
