Last Saturday, the church of Carmen hosted the coronation of the image of Mary Most Holy of Bitterness;

an act that was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, along with other members of the Municipal Corporation, and the president of the Brotherhood of Santiago Apóstol and María Santísima de la Amargura y Ánimas, Juan Antonio Gómez.
