This afternoon begins the program of Occupational Classroom launched by the Department of Education and Social Services of the City of Águilas;
a program that - said the mayor of Education, Cristóbal Casado - is aimed at young people attached to the School Absenteeism Program and aims to "help these young people acquire the basic curricular skills of Secondary."
To achieve this, a classroom has been set up in which reinforcement classes will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
For its part, the mayor of Social Services, Rosalía Casado, said that "absenteeism is a problem that we are very concerned about what the City Council will devote the necessary resources so that the figures thereof are reduced in our municipality."
Finally, both ediles trusted in the smooth running of this program.
"A few weeks ago both the pedagogue and the social worker who is part of this project met with the families of the students attached to the Absenteeism Program and all agreed to value this project very positively," concluded the Councilor for Education.
