The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández;
and the president of the Cabildo de Cofradías, José Cáceres, presented yesterday the book of Holy Week of Eagles.
A publication that, for the third consecutive year, has published the Department of Culture of the City of Águilas.
The magazine, of 32 pages and high quality paper in full color, collects all the Lenten acts as well as the processions that will take place in the town including, from each of them, a map of the route.
Among the novelties included in the publication, the president of the Cabildo emphasized, "a calendar of events is included ordered by days, which allows to know what activities are carried out each day, as well as a double page in which the presidents are presented of the different Brotherhoods ".
It was precisely in the Brotherhoods where his speech focused both the first mayor and Cultural Councilor who wanted to thank "the work they all do to enhance Easter Week, a festivity," Moreno said, "both from the City Council and from City Council we consider worthy of the declaration of Regional Tourist Interest and that is why we are working tirelessly to achieve it. "
The Holy Week magazine, of which 3,500 copies have been published, is now available at the Tourist Office.
