The program, launched by Afemac, aims to raise awareness and prevention of mental health and addictions and is developed by the Spanish Mental Health Confederation and financed by the National Plan on Drugs.
One of the most important aspects of the program, as stated by Afemac, is to offer information oriented to the prevention of drug consumption, awareness of the importance of mental health and the relationship between both aspects.
The program consists of two one-hour sessions in all schools in the town taught by Afemac psychologist and in which users of the Association of Family and Mentally Ill Patients of Águilas y Comarca (Afemac) also participate. that will tell the young people their experiences.
