The Plenary of the City of Águilas gave green light, last Tuesday, to the mixed contract of supplies and integral service of external lighting in the municipality of Águilas that will suppose, among other things, the change of 7,966 luminarias to technology LED, incorporating modern systems of flow regulation and optimization of electricity rates.
All this will allow, as announced by the mayor of Hacienda Tomás Consentino, a reduction in energy consumption of 67.5% and, what is more important, a reduction in the environmental impact that, in numbers, will mean the reduction of its gas emissions. greenhouse effect in 1,807 tons, which is equivalent to 1,000 cars circulating during a whole year.
The Plenary session also served to unanimously approve the proposal on the need to improve the commuter trains of the Águilas-Lorca-Murcia line, as well as to name the inclusive park located on the Hill as Mari Collado Master Inclusive Park.
