The Brotherhood of Christ of Mercy and Blessed Mother of Mercy recently celebrated the Mass and third Lenten proclamation that on this occasion was given by José Ruiz, who was for six years parish priest of the church of San José.

During the ceremony, which was held in the chapel of the San Francisco residence and was attended by numerous members of the Municipal Corporation, among which was the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, last year's forerunner, as well as the brother of the Brotherhood, Antonio Hernández, proceeded to deliver the new confreres of the brotherhood medals.
