Águilas is characterized by enjoying an enviable time and excellent temperatures, a fact that is enhanced by the arrival of spring.

For this reason, the town council of Águilas, through the concessionary company of parks and gardens, STV, is proceeding to the planting of more than 2000 seasonal flowers (mainly dragon begonias and geraniums).

"The objective is to ensure that the red color of the flowering plants and that of the different geraniums fill the streets with special colors and give our green areas a different aspect that allows families, and aquilines in general, to enjoy of beautiful walks and enjoy them ", explains Isabel Fernández, mayor of Service Provider Companies.

For this, a team of four people is planting the different specimens in the green areas of Águilas, in its almost 400 square meters dedicated to flowers.

"What we intend," Fernandez explains, "is to have a resistant and full-color season plant, with the maximum guarantees and yields, for which it has a system, renewed and refurbished, with drip irrigation. an irrigation with rooting after the placement of the plant as well as a special fertilizer for flower plant ".
