The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Town Planning mayor, Tomás Consentino, visited this morning the different works, included in the Works and Services Plan (POS), which are being carried out in the town, specifically in the streets Democracy, Fraternity, Happiness, Coexistence and Prosperity.
The actions, with an investment very close to 245,000 euros, will mean a solution to the problems of the road, whose pavement was in very poor condition, as well as a renewal of the distribution network of drinking water in order to offer a better service.
Likewise, the actions will be aimed at solving the existing problem with the drainage of rainwater in Manuel Azaña and Juan Mula streets, where a water collector with its corresponding scuppers will be built, the sewerage of wastewater and the water network will be renewed potable and the pavement will be replaced with asphalt agglomerate.
