The Cabildo de Cofradías de Águilas has wanted to recover this year the Drawing Contest of the Holy Week of Águilas, addressed to all the Educational Centers of the town;
a proposal that has been very well received by schoolchildren and in which a total of six schools have participated.
The awards ceremony was held yesterday, March 21, at the facilities of Águilas Plaza Shopping Center, sponsor of the contest.
The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the president of the Cabildo de Cofradías, José Cáceres, and the director of the Shopping Center, Gema Simó, were in charge of delivering the prizes.
During the event, José Cáceres thanked "the involvement of the schools that have been encouraged to participate, this contest being of great importance for our children to begin to live the Passion Week from childhood, knowing each day a little more the customs and traditions that surround them ".
On the other hand, Mari Carmen Moreno encouraged all the children of the town to participate in this type of contests that "help to encourage the imagination and creativity that are so important for their growth, while allowing them to know more in depth the traditions of a Holy Week like the one of Águilas that is increasing year after year ".
The prizes of this drawing and crafts contest of the Holy Week of Eagles were distributed in first, second and third place.
Obtaining as a gift gift cards sponsored by the Águilas Plaza Shopping Center to spend in establishments of the aforementioned Boulevard.
In the drawing category the winners were:
First grade.

• Celia Fuentes Revelles, from Las Lomas School.
Second of primary.
• Dove of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores school.
• Laura Soler Díaz, from Las Lomas School.
• Fran Tomas Illina, from the Ciudad del Mar school.
Third grade
• Álvaro Ramírez Molina, from Las Lomas school.
• Laura López Muñoz, from the San Juan de las Águilas school.
• Mario Ponce Pérez, from Las Lomas school.
Fourth grade.
• Pablo Javier Salas Orozco, from Las Lomas School.
• Marina Zaragoza, from the Las Lomas school and Jorge García Cañas, from the Carlos V School
• Ángela Sánchez Gutiérrez, School URCI, and Francisco Castro Martínez, of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores school.
Finally, the prizes were awarded to the best crafts.
