Isabel Soler: "Mari Carmen Moreno with patent nervousness dedicated herself to belittle and insult the Popular Party Councilors and rejected the motion for the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos to resume its normal activity in summer."
The Spokesman of the Popular Party in the City council of Águilas, Isabel Soler, has highlighted the haughty and arrogant tone of a mayor visibly nervous before the proposal of the Municipal People's Group so that she listens to the aquilines and adopts another series of measures that are not the one of leaving the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos without activity.
Soler regrets that the priority for Mari Carmen Moreno is to maintain her chair and not fight for the interest of Aguilas and the aquilines, which shows the interest and concern of this Socialist Government Team for the promotion of tourism in our town.
According to the Popular Spokesperson once again the Mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, ignores what thousands of neighbors are asking her and for no reason refuses to take another series of corrective measures to mitigate the inconvenience of the Plaza Antonio Cortijos even though there are two sentences one in the criminal sphere and another in the contentious administrative order that give the reason to the City Council in this matter.
On the other hand, the Popular Councilman Carlos Bartolomé, has lamented that the Motion presented by the Popular Group concerning the realization of an integral evaluation to correct the multiple deficiencies that the Urbanization of the Gardens presents nor was it approved by the Government Team of the PSOE, also having to listen to the misguided words of the socialist councilor calling "privileged" to the residents of this Urbanization, allowing the luxury of joking with what many families residing there are suffering (36 streetlights that have no light, public plots in sorry state , the cleaning shines by its absence, the garbage containers are the oldest and in worse state of the whole town, etc ...)
Soler also highlights a motion by the Popular Group that, if it obtained the support of the rest of the groups, was the proposal to name a street of Águilas with the name of "Paqui Lajarín", an initiative that won the unanimous support of all the councilors and will serve to pay a small tribute to this great aquiline woman who has always been at the service of the most disadvantaged.
The Spokesman of the Municipal People's Group has indicated that the popular councilors have had no qualms in supporting the motion to lower the rates of the AP-7 Cartagena-Vera highway once the amendment of the Popular Party has been accepted so that it is also requested to speed up the payment of compensation to all the aquilines that were expropriated to carry out this highway and that 14 years later have not received their compensation.
Finally, the Municipal People's Group, also supported, the initiative of Grupo Podemos for the implementation of the "Extraordinary Youth" awards after accepting an amendment proposed by the popular, in the sense that a correct regulation of the bases is made for the concession of the same as requested by our councilor Asensio.
