Águilas will host from April 8 to 15 the events of the Jubilee Year of the Hospitality of Lourdes;
an extensive program of activities that was presented this morning and with which it is intended to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hospitality in Murcia and the 40th in Águilas.
During the presentation, in which the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the delegates of the Hospitality in Águilas, Marita Pérez and Juan Carlos Espinosa, and the parish priest of the church of San José, Manuel Amatriain, the first mayor, were present has highlighted the importance that Águilas has been chosen to host the Regional Coexistence of Hospitality.
On the other hand, the Hospitality delegates wanted to thank "the predisposition that the City Council has shown to welcome in Águilas an act as important as this one for all the hospital staff".
Before concluding the meeting with the media, the parish priest of the church of San José has emphasized "the importance that Hospitality has, not only from the religious point of view but also for the social work and accompaniment of patients who perform in his day to day ".
Activity program:
Sunday, April 8:
18 hours: Arrival of the image of Our Lady of Lourdes to the Fishing Port and later transfer in procession to the Church of San José.
20 hours: Welcome and Mass.
Monday, April 9:
7.30 pm in San José: Holy Rosary and Eucharist with the theme "I am the Immaculate Conception".
Tuesday, April 10:
18 hours in the church of San José: Jubilee Mass presided over by Bishop José Manuel Lorca Planes.
At the end of the mass the procession of the torches will take place until the parish of Carmen.
Wednesday, April 11:
19 hours in the church of Ntra. Sra. Del Carmen Santo Rosario and Eucharist with the theme We are all hospital volunteers.
At the end of the mass, transfer the image in procession to the Parish of San José.
Thursday, April 12:
12 hours in the parish of San José visit of the children and at 8:00 pm the eucharist with the theme "Lourdes lives in your house, look for it.
Friday, April 13:
7.30 pm in San Jose: Holy Rosary and Eucharist with the theme "Love, give, serve, forget."
At the end of the concert by the gospel choir.
Saturday, April 14:
20 hours in the church of San José: Eucharist and farewell of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Sunday, April 15:
10 hours at the Municipal Sports Center, regional coexistence of the Hospitality of Lourdes.
