The Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena will host tomorrow the play "A fool in a box", directed by the Murcian Carlos Santos who, this morning, offered a press conference at the City of Águilas in which he was accompanied by the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, and different representatives of the Milana Bonita Association.
A fool in a box, which will take place at 9:00 pm, will begin with an act of homage to the director himself, Carlos Santos, and the aquiline actor Francisco Rabal.
Two figures that not only coincide in being Murcia but also are the only two interpreters of this land whose work has been recognized with two Goya prizes, considered the highest recognition of Spanish cinema.
A fool in a box suggests the existence of a society where men are divided into Notables, Big and Small, with the Notables at the top of the intellectual and economic pyramid.
One of these notables receives by mail a box supposedly sent by the Devil, and invites a meeting in his house to a Small and a Great to discover if the magical properties of the box are real.
With much humor and irony, the work will follow these characters throughout a night where only the most astute will survive.
