Framed within the events scheduled for the Jubilee Year of the Hospitality of Lourdes, yesterday was celebrated in the church of San José a Jubilee Mass presided over by Bishop José Manuel Lorca Planes.
The Eucharist was attended, among others, by the Mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the Minister of Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, the delegates of the Hospitality in Águilas, Marita Pérez and Juan Carlos Espinosa, and the President of Hospitality Murcia, Joaquín Martínez.
During the ceremony the Hospitality wanted to recognize the work of Miguel Crouseilles, a hospitable man for forty years and current regional vice president.
It is worth noting that a procession of torches and the transfer of the image to the parish of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, which had to be canceled due to strong gusts of wind, was planned after the religious ceremony.
The events planned within the Jubilee Year will continue this afternoon in the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with a Mass at 7:00 p.m. and then transfer in procession of the image to the Parish of St. Joseph.
