Águilas, together with the municipalities of Cuevas del Almanzora and Vera, has joined the Agro Tic Project, a program that is part of the Green Employ initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment, which is executed through the Fundación Biodiversity
The initiative, directed to workers and autonomous personnel of the agricultural sector fundamentally, although also have a place sectors like the agroturismo, the recycling, the management of waste or those activities related with the sustainability of the natural resources, was presented yesterday by the mayor of Development Local and Training, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, and the project coordinator, Diego Caler.
"The program aims to create an efficient, sustainable and cutting-edge agriculture at the technological level through the introduction and use of techniques / technologies of last generation, respectful with the environment and capable of optimizing crops and production systems taking as an example similar experiences developed successfully throughout the Americas and Europe, "said the mayor Ginés Desiderio Navarro.
Specifically, the activities that will be developed in Águilas throughout this year are four:
Formative action.
Smart agriculture
Control sensors for efficient use of natural resources for 25 people.
Training action: Agroindustry 4.0: ICT facilitators of the circular economy.
Directed to 20 people.
Itineraries for techno-green employment in agrifood.
Directed to 5 people.
Individualized advice.
16 hours per participant in 4 work sessions.
Multisectorial environment agro-TIC: Directed to 35 people.
The action will be developed in a single day of classroom work.
