The mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, has shown his satisfaction with the data referring to the visits of the Tourist Office during this Holy Week in which- has indicated- "have been exceeded by 17.7% over the previous year "
In this sense, it should be noted that the data made public by the mayor of Tourism indicate that the Municipal Tourist Office received this Easter a total of 846 visits compared to 722 last year.
Regarding the origin of the same, 70.8% of them were of a national nature (excluding regional visits that were estimated at 9.69%), followed by foreign visitors estimated at 19.27%.
The increase of the tourist promotion, together with the interest in the processions and the attractiveness of the sun and beach are the elements that, for the mayor of Tourism, have been key in the good data obtained in these recent holidays.
