Eye, Rookie to port !!!]
The Local Assembly of the Spanish Red Cross in Águilas through its Training Department, and before the approach of the summer season, will begin to give Workshops of Prevention of the Health in the School Centers, Cultural and Sports Associations, Centers of Diving, Residences for the Elderly, Fishermen's Association and collectives in general with the aim of promoting healthy habits and behaviors that avoid risks in our coastline, with special emphasis on the responsible use of beaches.
The "Eye, Rook to Port" Campaign will teach the participants in the workshops the meaning of the color of the flags, basic precautions when bathing, how to avoid accidents caused by heat and lack of hydration and the use of protective creams with factors suitable to each type of skin to avoid damage caused by the sun.
The Spanish Red Cross at national level starts up every year before the summer the initiative "Quiérete Mucho", which in our city will be developed this year under the aforementioned name to make an appeal to the responsibility of aquilines and visitors, in special to the smallest by its high risk index.
Note that thanks to campaigns like this, the work of rescuers and the collaboration of users, the municipality of Águilas has managed to ensure that during 23 years there have been no deaths in the aquatic environment due to Immersion Syndromes.
