More than three hundred aquiline establishments have already positioned themselves in Google, through the project Interconnection of the economic services sector in Águilas that is being carried out through the Local Public Employment Program "Strengthening of the Economic Development Service of the City of Águilas".
The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, was in charge of making this information known during a press conference in which she was accompanied by all the young people attached to the Youth Guarantee program, who are participating in this draft.
"A while ago, from the City Council detected the need to give visibility to the network to companies in the service sector of the town who so wish and thus allow, for example, that with a couple of clips any citizen could know schedules opening and closing, precise location on the map and any other data that could improve business opportunities, "said the first mayor.
In this sense Moreno has highlighted that during these first three months of the project the participants have visited more than 600 establishments, of which 480 have asked to join it.
Currently, the positioning of these establishments is being finalized, in just a few weeks, to start the second phase of this Interconnection Project, which will consist in offering a training course to all participating establishments so that they can manage the information themselves. that the network offers about its establishments.
In the same way, and also within this project, a database of the services sector is being created so that the City Council can report directly on training actions, advisory programs, possible calls for subsidies and aid, agreements taken by the Council of Local Commerce and any information that may be of interest and that, on occasion, goes unnoticed.
