The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the councilman of Youth council of Eagles, Francisco Hernández, today visited the 80 young people aged between 14 and 17 years from Asturias and Cantabria involved in summer camps that take place at the Yacht Club of the municipality and the youth hostel Calarreona.
Veronica Lopez said that "summer camps promote values of solidarity and respect between young people from different regions, which have the opportunity to experience the culture and richness of our coast."
Calarreona youth hostel hosts 50 of these young people for 15 days, from 2 to 16 July, to participate in environmental education activities and ethnology, with environmental routes in protected areas and urban routes Eagles and Murcia, beach sports and track, such as beach volleyball, beach football, games and water activities, basketball, aerobics, scuba diving in apnea and leather crafts workshops and textile decoration.
This hostel made four shifts during the months of July and August to be attended, besides these, other young people from Castilla y Leon, Basque Country, Aragon and Murcia.
The Yacht Club is home to 30 young eagles, also from Asturias and Cantabria, during their stay will make introductory courses in water sports in the surroundings of the town, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and canoeing, cultural route by the City Murcia, environmental activities and the classification of species, simulation games, sports and beach track, beach volleyball, beach football and basketball, as well as craft workshops vasrios.
In this installation will be two shifts of 30 people each during the month of July.
The second one, from 16 to 30 July, attended by youth from Asturias, Cantabria and Murcia.

Other partners are the youth councils of the municipalities where they develop different camps.
