The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, accompanied by the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramirez, presided today at the beach of Las Delicias Eagles hoisted the flag "Q" Quality Tourism, proving the excellent state of the sand and waters, access to infrastructure and quality of services offered to tourists (safety, equipment hire, restaurants, bars, parks and recreational areas).
The distinction, awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), makes the beach of Las Delicias in the first public space of the municipality certified with the stamp 'Q' quality.
Currently, the Region of Murcia has 21 beaches with the "Q" Quality Tourism, which accounts for 19 percent of all certified establishments and organizations in the region.
Furthermore, ranked third nationally in number of beaches with 'Q', after Andalusia, which has 53, and Valencia, which now has 39.
The beach of Las Delicias, located in the center of the city, occupies almost the entire Bay East, considered one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.
Furthermore, this beach has the blue flag since 1992, a badge that recognizes their good environmental conditions and quality of its facilities.
