Today Friday, July 23, in the halls of Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramírez Soto, accompanied by the rector of University Extension of the UMU, Guillermo Diaz, director of the Universidad Internacional del Mar, Manuela Lopez have carried out the closing and awards ceremony for the course "Criminal Justice in Spain."
Throughout its 30 hours of training, where they have developed several presentations and round tables, as the inaugural "Judicial independence" by the vice chairman of the Judiciary, Fernando De Rosa, issues have been addressed: Current problems of juvenile law, jury trial operation, the future of our justice, the private prosecutor in criminal proceedings, etc..
Among those who have participated in the course of the International University of the Sea are such prominent names as: Marcos García Montes, a criminal lawyer, Francisco Martínez-Gómez Escribano Federico Trillo-Figueroa or, counsel for the Council of State, among others.
