The Federation of Peñas de Carnaval announces the competition for the choice of the poster for the carnival of 2011, according to the following basis:
1.-may participate in it all people who wish, irrespective of their residence.
2 .- Each contestant may submit up to three original works.
3 .- The theme of these is always based on the Eagles Carnival and technique used will be a free choice of partners.
4 .- In all the signs shall bear the legend: "CARNIVAL OF EAGLES, 2011."
5 .- The poster will be vertically and measures 50x70 including margins if necessary.
6.-All entries will be unpublished and color.
7 .- The papers should be submitted unsigned and mounted on board or rack.
8 .- The receipt of the same shall be at the headquarters of the Federation of Peñas de Carnaval, C /.
King Carlos III, 50, bajo.
(Urb EAGLES, 2000) 30880 Aguilas (Murcia), every Wednesday from 18 to 20 hours.
9 .- The deadline for submission of work will end at 20.00 hours of the day August 25, 2010.
10 .- The works are accompanied by a sealed envelope inside which shall include name, surname, ID number, full mailing address and telephone number of author.
The envelope shall indicate the title of the work presented.
11 .- At the time of delivery of the work in the Federation of Clubs, will be assigned a number that is reflected both in the envelope and in the cartel, for identification purposes.
12 .- The envelope will be opened only in case of being chosen to accompany the poster.
13 .- Shipping charges shall be borne by the participant.
14 .- In the case of work submitted by mail or other means of transportation, proof of the date of entry, stating the postmark.
Signs shall be held by the Federation of Peñas, three days before the start of their exposure.
15 .- Once the deadline for the works, the works will be exhibited
From August 28 to September 4, 2010, in the Exhibition Hall Cajamurcia.
16 .- The jury will consist of the Mayor, President of the Federation of Peñas, Secretary and five professionals involved with art and advertising.
17 .- If the number of submissions is more than 50, the same jury will make a shortlist.
18 .- The Jury's decision is final, the winner becoming known through the local media, regional and national, officially introduced the "Character Choice Gala Carnival 2011" to be held on 27 August in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos.
19 .- The winner gets a prize of 900 €.
This contest may be canceled if a Jury decision, the works presented were not of sufficient quality to qualify for the same.
20 .- The winning poster will be owned by the Federation of Peñas Eagles Carnival.
Such property includes all the inherent rights to self-reproduction, distribution and transmission where, according to the Intellectual Property Law.
21 .- The work is not awarded, shall be removed ten days after exposure ended.
If not, will become the property of the Federation of Clubs, on the terms and conditions cited in paragraph 20 of these Rules.
22 .- Any questions that arise regarding the interpretation of these Rules or the application thereof, shall be resolved by the jury.
23 .- The presentation of the work necessarily implies acceptance of these Terms.
