The city of Eagle, through the Department of Culture, working with the Board Musical Columbine "Francisco Díaz Romero" in the program of events will develop in the municipality on the occasion of the feast of St. Cecilia, patron saint of musicians.
The Minister of Culture, Clara Valverde, and the director of the Cultural Association and School of Music Board, Ramón Rubio, offered a press conference today to detail the different activities taking place from 12 to 30 November.
The most significant events are:
From 12 to 30 November: Open Day.
Saturday, November 20: At 10:00 pm in the football field, "Brothers Buitrago," traditional game "Metal on wood."
At 14'00 hours will be a fellowship meal.
Sunday, November 21: From 10:00 pm, parade and collection of new musicians.
Monday, November 22: From 17.00 pm in the Board's headquarters, traditional afternoon of games and competitions for students and young musicians.
Saturday 27 November: At 20.30 pm in the Concert Hall of the Board, a special concert of St. Cecilia, by Head Band and School Band.
The event will take place the presentation of diplomas for entry to the new components.
Sunday, November 28: At 13.00 pm in the parish of San José, Mass in honor of St. Cecilia, in the presence of local authorities and musicians.
At 14'00 h, lunch of brotherhood.
