Following the successful opening of the VII National Amateur Theatre Competition "Paco Rabal," which took place last Saturday with the performance of the play "Fools" by the company Alicante "Medusa D'Or" This Saturday, November 13, we have a new theatrical event, this time with the staging of "Rings for a Lady" by Antonio Gala, performed by the theater group "Carlos Lemos" in Madrid, under the direction of Enrique Hidalgo.
"Rings for a Lady" shows the frustrations of any human being and the struggle for freedom as a prerequisite for life, calling into question the principles that underpin the power.
Of the more than 20 works submitted for the contest, from different parts of Spanish territory, which have been selected and will be on stage are:
November 6: "The Innocents" Company "Medusa D'Or" in Alicante.
November 13: "Ring for a lady," the company "Grupo de Teatro Carlos Lemos" in Madrid.
November 20: "Il rescue of Belladonna" Company "Barana Teatre" in Valencia.
November 27: "Fortunes of Andromeda and Perseus", the "Theatre Group at the University of Alicante."
On Saturday, December 11, will be the closing event and award ceremony, which will serve the Group Theatre at the University of Murcia.
The performances, with free entrance until full capacity, will take place on designated days at 20:00 am in the Hotel Don Miguel.
The municipality of free buses chartered Eagles, who will leave at 19'15 hours from the Esplanade of the port, returning again to the place of departure to complete the works.
