The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, presented today at Fitur Carnival Regatta 2011 to be held at Eagles 27 February to 5 March.
The project, conceived in 2001, aims to become a benchmark of coastal races Southeast.
The success of the competition lies in the high organizational level, the competition calendar, divided into two weekends, the integration program in the carnival aguileño sailors, declared of National Tourist Interest, and the level of media coverage of regional media and press.

Tests
The race consists of two rounds to be played on 27 February and 5 pack of 2011.
The race course in a triangle roughly 18 miles, bounded by Cape Cope and Isla de Terreros.
In addition, there will be a social program with a presentation to media and authorities, press conferences, welcome, costume party integrated into the official program of the carnival and a trophy ceremony.
