Belen García Salas, the school "Las Lomas", has won the first prize in the school.
Today Thursday, February 3 at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia has taken place awards of the Second Edition of the School Essay Contest on Cancer, in which students participated Primary 6 of the different centers Education of the municipality.
The event, coordinated by the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), in collaboration with the Department of Social Services, Welfare and Equality of the City of Eagle, was attended by the mayor of the consistory aquiline, Juan Ramirez Francisco Soto and Council Members Clement and Josefa García, as well as the local president of the AECC, Soledad Sánchez.
The winners in this contest, organized to commemorate the World Day Against Cancer "have been:
First prize: Belén Hernández (CEIP Las Lomas).
Second prize: Encarnacion Salinas (CEIP Joaquín Shopkeeper).
Third prize: Isabel María Cano (CEIP Mary Immaculate).
Special mention: George Lopez (CEIP San Juan de las Aguilas).
Special mention: Diego Martínez (CEIP Mediterranean).
On the other hand, remember that tomorrow Friday, February 4, coinciding with Remembrance Day, from 10.30 to 13.00 hours, will install an information table at the Plaza of Spain, under the theme "A day for change your life ", which will provide any information about this disease.
At 11.00 hours, the booth will be visited by the mayor and other municipal authorities, who will meet with the local president of the AECC.
