The local president of the Popular Party and mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramírez Soto, recently reported to the regional body's Party of its decision not to run for reelection as a candidate for mayor of Eagles in the upcoming municipal elections in May.
Although the PP's local president had announced, after the victory in the last elections of 2007 that this would be his third and final term as head of the consistory aquiline, so far not been made public and official determination.
Juan Ramírez Soto is, since 1993, president of the Partido Popular de Aguilas.
It was first proclaimed mayor in 1999 and ratified in 2003 and 2007, years in which it has been gradually increasing citizen support among voters aquiline.
During his tenure in City Hall Eagles have done many performances, among which are: the creation of a local path of museums, the construction of the bus station, the implementation of the industrial area, numerous sports facilities, new squares and avenues, the recovery and value of much of the local heritage, educational facilities, municipal buildings citizen services, adequacy of large streets and rural roads in neighborhoods and districts or imminent Hall Auditorium Congress and the Multipurpose Hall.
Just as a firm commitment to safety, with the expansion of the staff of the local police, among a long list of projects that Ramirez has driven from the local executive with a municipal administration that has placed the consistory aguileño among the least indebted Region of Murcia.
Following the announcement referred to Juan Ramirez, the Popular Party's election committee Eagles ratified in the coming days the application with which the PP will go to the next municipal elections.
A list headed by Giménez Hernández Bartolomé and integrated by a large team of women and men willing to work vigorously for Eagles and their citizens.
