The Department of Culture of the City of Eagle reported the first acts of Carnival, which begin Saturday and run until next March 12.

· Saturday February 26:

At 21.00 pm in the Pavilion "Agustín Muñoz" Polideportivo Municipal, "Gran Gala Change of powers" between the characters of Carnival 2010 and 2011.

The names of these representative figures of the Carnival of Aguilas are:

The event, which is expected to come close to 2,000 people, will feature performances by the Ballet Oficial de Peñas de Carnaval.

Likewise, the recognitions will be given masks and Golden Conch, to different recipients.

· Sunday 27 February:

- From 9:00 pm, football field next to "Brothers Buitrago", XVII Duathlon "Carnival of Eagles."

The test is qualifying for the Championship of Spain Duathlon Elite and Age Group.

The awards ceremony, attended by local authorities and the new characters of Carnival 2011 will take place at 13'45 hours.

- From 12:00 am hours, leaving from the Yacht Club, First Manga of the X-Race Trophy MAPFRE "Carnival of Eagles."

- At 13.00 pm in the Concert Hall Musical Patronage aquiline, with free admission, Carnival Special Concert III, by the Board of Trustees Music Banda Musical Columbine "Francisco Díaz Romero" and Banda Association Cultural Musician "Euterpe" Santomera.

- At 21.00 pm in the Pavilion "Agustín Muñoz" the Municipal Sports Centre, with free entry, XI Paper Costume Contest.

The event will feature different performances and the presentation of the amazing costumes created on paper, sponsored by different commercial firms.
