The Eagles elected mayor and, for the Popular Party, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé, took part today in a workshop, along with several of his peers, which has taken place in the nearby town of Pulpí.
The meeting was attended by the newly elected mayors: Huercal-Overa, Domingo Fernández, Pulpí, Juan Pedro Garcia and Eagles, Bartolome Hernandez, along with mayors re-elected: Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and Cuevas del Almanzora, Jesus Caicedo.
In a later news briefing, Bartolome Hernandez said that "there is no need to wait for the June 11, which constitute the new municipal corporations, to start working for our respective localities, if he really is interested in improving and advancing ".
Hernández Giménez positively valued these meetings, while also highlighting the importance of maintaining and strengthening the existing ties between the regions of "Guadalentín" and "Almanzora.
Similarly, the Eagles elected mayor wanted to influence the symbiosis between Eagles and Huercal Pulpí-Overa, and how beneficial it would have better roads to encourage traffic safety and traffic flow between populations border. "
Finally, from the ranks of the Popular Party, have stressed the need to work together to demand that the Central Government issues of vital importance for the development of the different municipalities, including: the NHP, a good local financing and non-sectarian treatment.
