The device control and monitoring will be completed with all the troops, on Saturday 25 June.
This morning was held at the Esplanade port, the introduction of Copla Plan 2011, City Eagles ahead again for a second consecutive year as a good preventive measure against the bathers on the beaches columbines.
The event was attended various local and regional authorities, among which were: the Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Manuel Campos, general director of Public Safety and Emergency Luis Gestoso, the acting mayor of Eagles, Juan Ramirez, regional deputy, Cati Lorenzo and council acting for Civil Protection, Pedro Peña, and Public Safety, Francisco Clemente, and the new mayor-elect of Eagles, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé, and representatives of bodies and security forces that integrate Coverage Plan Beaches 2011.
Although that plan officially starts on 1 July, from Thursday, one month before the usual period, the swimmers who go to the main beaches of Eagles will have control service monitoring by the Red Cross, which also involved : Civil Protection, Local Police, Guardia Civil, Firefighters, and Emergency 061 (112).
This first phase of Plan Copla runs through Saturday, June 25, the date on which shall be effective all who will serve until 15 September.
The beaches have coverage today at 11.00 hours to 19.00 hours, are:
Calabardina with checkpoint and first aid, rescue boat, and lifeguards.
Las Delicias, with checkpoint and first aid, rescue boat, and lifeguards.
The colony, with checkpoint and first aid and lifeguards.
West, with checkpoint and first aid and lifeguards.
Calarreona with checkpoint and first aid, rescue boat, and lifeguards.
It is also to report that, in parallel, since tomorrow will be activated bathing assistance service for disabled people, on the beaches of Las Delicias, Calabardina and La Colonia.
Besides the aforementioned beaches, the rest of the coast will be hooked monitoring ATV rapid intervention, which made permanent rounds along the coastline, until the completion of the Beach Plan Coverage 2011, all troops.
