During Tuesday morning, July 5, members of Red Cross assigned to the City Plan 2011 Copla of Eagles and Local Police Officers have participated in two drills conducted on the beaches of Las Delicias and La Colonia.
The exercises have been developed under the supervision of the City Council Public Safety and Civil Protection, Francisco Clemente and the Director of Health and Red Cross Disaster Relief Eagles, Miguel Angel Molina, in addition to the presence of different municipal technicians.
The aim of the exercises, solved a total success, is to ensure that the requirements contained in Standard UNE 187001: 2008 and to be met without exception beaches bearing the distinctive "Q" Quality.
Among them, the existence of protocols for action in case of emergencies, both safety and rescue and first aid, or specific marking system in accordance with current legislation to ensure the enjoyment of the bath of the beach users without endanger their safety.
Also different safe for swimming on the beaches or in bathing areas, should be identified with flags, beaches must carry the flag associated with danger for your circumstances taking into account the daily conditions of the sea, current weather or extraordinary circumstances that arise and have an operational safety plan during the bathing season, in collaboration with the competent law enforcement services, to ensure the highest level of safety for beach users.
