At the meeting were present: the mayor of Eagle, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, the Councillor of Tourism, the Director General of Tourism and representatives of different groups linked to the sector.
Today Tuesday, July 26, has taken place in the City of Eagles a meeting at which they have tried various issues related to the present and future of tourism in the locality.
At the meeting were present: Mayor Eagles Giménez Hernández Bartolomé, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, the mayor of Tourism consistory aquiline, Clara Valverde, Director General of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón and several representatives of different groups involved in the sector.
The local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez, wanted to publicly thank the willingness of the counselor and the director general of Tourism in maintaining this meeting.
A contact qualified as historic by the mayor, since it is the first time the Ministry of Tourism held such meetings with representatives of the local tourism industry.
For his part, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, said that "the Regional Government will make a firm commitment to tourism, to serve as the primary engine of development in Murcia."
Cross indicated that it is balanced development throughout the region, which plays an important role Eagles, not just the traditional sun and sand product, but with new differentiating points, such as the Tourism Competitiveness Plan "Eagles, Sea and Fisheries", or the new Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena", which will help tourism in the seasonally adjusted municipality.
All this, stressed the Minister, with the horizon as the Regional Plan of Interest "Marina de Cope," which is set to become one of the great landmarks of national tourism.
