The recognition took place last night, during the course of the "Gala of the Golden Age."
The Department of Aging Eagles council held last night a great night to commemorate the "Grandparent's Day."
The event, free of charge, was performed under the name "Gala Golden Age" and focused on Spanish music, with performances by artists "Carlos Vargas" and "White Villa", accompanied by their respective ballets .
Very beginning of the ceremony, the mayor of Eagle, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé, the mayor of Aging, Ana Maria Miñarro, and the president of the Municipal Center on Aging, Juana Gonzalez, made the delivery of different plaques of recognition to three couples of members of that Centre, for his contribution and participation in various activities organized throughout the year.
The honorees were:
Antonio Fernandez Rodriguez and Rosa Rodriguez Garcia.
Jose Garcia Lopez and Antonio Núñez García.
Julian Mayor Trinidad and Ana Soto Lopez.
