The meeting, described by both sides as "very productive", took place yesterday, Wednesday, August 3, in the consistory aquiline.
In yesterday afternoon Wednesday, August 3rd, Mayor of Eagles, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé and the local president of the Agrarian Association of Young Farmers (BDA), Jose Martinez, held a meeting to discuss the current situation of the sector.
During the meeting, were accompanied by the Councillor for Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock, Francisco Navarro, and several members of that association.
At the end of the bench, Bartolome Hernandez called the meeting "very productive", detailing the farmers they had presented their concerns and needs.
Some claim that the mayor considers reasonable, saying it expects that 60% of them can materialize in the short term, even before the end of this year, and the remainder over the next year.
For his part, José Martínez said that "it is track land issues, assessing job prospects in the industry and shaping a course of action among farmers and the city, trying to improve various issues such as roads or electrification in certain areas of the field. "
Martinez also explained that "among the issues that most concern us stand out: water, trades, agreements with third countries or the Mediterranean corridor."
