Course Objectives
"Current Issues in vision: Centenary of the Nobel Prize Allvar Gullstrand" The course brings together a number of national and foreign experts that will show in a didactic and entertaining some of the most important advances being made in optometry, contact lens, ophthalmology and physiological optics.
This year there will be some talks related to the accommodation and the lens to commemorate the centenary of the Nobel Prize only story that has been granted for studies in ocular lens, the ophthalmologist Allvard Gullstrand granted in 1911.
"Non-formal education in youth work. Methods and Methodologies": Given the important role that the various existing proposals in the field of education are addressed to adolescents and youth, this course attempts to answer the growing need dedicated to training people who are young and act in non-formal education environments.
This session will bring together professors from the University of Murcia, other state universities and experts in public programs and social action organizations, who try to raise awareness and provide guidance on educational opportunities in non-academic.
Therefore, this course aims to:
Explore areas of education where there is no formal education options and features that define them.
Enabling knowledge and skills in conducting educational programs and interventions.
Experiment methods and methodologies for working with young people, living them in their own way.
Analyze and monitor, especially through experience and best practices, impact and possibilities, personal and social development.
Exchange information on the evolution of non-formal education settings in Spain and Europe, especially in options, routes, skills, recognition and validation.
